After studying for an HND and advanced diploma in photography at Stevenson College, Michael worked in a camera shop and even had a short stint as a cruise ship photographer.  

 

He then began photographing property around 2000 and, after a few years as a freelance photographer, joined square foot in 2007.

 

As the photographer who normally covered the North, Michael decided to move to Stonehaven in 2013 to focus on rural properties. Although on his travels can still be found in the big smoke from time to time.

As well as photography and managing clients Michael has many years experience of producing floorplans and has surveyed everything from bothys to castles. 

 

With a huge area to cover, Michael often stays away from home and has been spotted working away on the laptop in the corner of the hotel bar.
