Kacper has been interested in architecture since 2007 when he came across Ecohouse by Sue Roaf, a book on use of sustainable resources for architectural design.

"My favourite material is wood. Did you know you can have a house skeleton built from hardwood and it will withstand the fire as the hardwood doesn't burn, it only chars".

"Floor planning in Edinburgh and around gives me an insight into different materials and techniques used in local architecture. It's interesting to see how climate conditions influence architectural style - with heavy use of stone, brick and concrete in Scotland.  Still I'd like to see more wood!"

Kacper's dream is to build his own eco-friendly house.
